So just when you think RIM might have some good news in the BlackBerry world, Halliburton comes along and drops a major bomb. They announced that they will be dropping use of BlackBerries in their company and transitioning to iPhones.
Now that’s not all. This is indicative of a move a lot of companies are making here in North America. Unfortunately RIM has not come out with anything substantial to stave off all the people abandoning ship.
I for one, hope that RIM does change things around. After all, more competition is good, and I’d hate to see a world where it was only Apple and Google fighting for supremacy in the smartphone market.
This is a request to RIM, please make the changes to turn the company around, the smartphone world still needs you!
